Services at St. Andrew's

We offer a range of services, which take different forms, to suit individual preferences.

Sunday

8:00am Holy Communion

The service is spoken without music. It is quiet and reflective and attracts a regular congregation of 12 to 20 participants.

9:45am Parish Eucharist

This the main service of the day and attracts a congregation of about 100 to 120. The service structure is from the Anglican Common Worship but is presented in a relaxed and inclusive manner. Hymns are a mix of traditional and new from the book Hymns Old and New. Occasionally there is a non-communion service designed and led by laity, presenting the Gospel of Jesus in novel ways using drama and humour.

6:30pm Evening Worship

Evening services comprise a range of styles and formats. It may be a Choral Evensong, with musical offerings from the choir, or it may be an informal service e.g. in a Celtic or Taize style. Please contact the Vicar to check the details.

Wednesday

9:30am Holy Communion

The service is spoken without music. It offers an opportunity for mid-week communion to a small but regular congregation.

Home Communion

We offer home communion to those who are ill or otherwise disabled from coming to church. Contact the Vicar to arrange this.

Healing Ministry

Every Sunday we offer a healing ministry at the 8:00 and 9:45 services; a team member will pray with anyone seeking healing for themselves or another.
