In Harrow, a periodic series of lectures given by well know scientists explore current scientific knowledge and how this links to and enhances our faith.

The most recent event was on Thursday 13 March and was a lecture from Prof. Dennis Alexander entitled 'Evolution and Creation'. Prof. Alexander is the director of the Faraday Institute for Science and Religion at St Edmund's College, Cambridge, a molecular biologist and an author on science and religion. He is also an editor of Science and Christian Belief.

At a talk on 19 September 2013 by Geoff Maitland, who is Professor of Energy Engineering at Imperial College in London, Geoff's spoke about is "God's toolbox and the appliance of science". It was a very entertaining evening andGeoff talked eloquently about climate change and other topics.

The most recent lecture was given by Professor Russell Stannard and was titled "Modern Cosmology. Room for God?" Professor Stannard is the Emeritus Professor of Physics at the Open University.

Earlier in 2013 we were addressed by Rev. Professor John Polkinghorne KBE FRS, who is one of the country's best known experts in particle physics and an ordained Church of England priest.
